Ren Yellow Slingshot Bands – 0.5mm, 20-15 Taper (8mm Steel)
Ren Yellow 0.5mm bands with a 20-15 taper are precision-cut catapult bands for shooting 8mm steel. They suit target practice and UKSA competition. Ren Yellow latex (韧 | 责任, “toughness | responsibility”) is sold only by Natty Catty Bands, a UK business run by Phil, a competitive shooter and UKSA committee member.
Each order is a set of 4 bands. please state in checkout box if you want TTF bands
Who they’re for:
Target shooters using 8mm steel
Target practice, UKSA competition, general shooting
Shooters who want a smooth draw and the same point of impact every shot
Why shooters pick Ren Yellow:
Speed: 0.5mm latex gives a quick, snappy return without needing a heavy draw. In our testing, 8mm steel averaged 255 fps with a 20-15 taper, a 72cm draw length and a 15cm active band length.
Band life: the 20-15 taper spreads tension along the band. In our testing, one set of 4 bands lasted over 400 shots at that setup.
Smooth draw: the stretch builds steadily with no sudden stacking.
Consistency: every band is precision-cut to the same 20-15 profile, so bands in a set shoot alike.
