1. Precision Cutting for Slingshot & Catapult Flat Bands

The foundation of a perfectly tracking band set starts with how you cut your latex. Micro-tears along the edge of your rubber are the number one cause of sudden band snaps.

  • Choose High-Performance Latex: Always use premium, consistent latex brands like Precise Cyan Gen 4, Snipersling, Wasp, or GZK. For colder outdoor conditions in the UK, formulas like Precise Extra Cold (available strictly in 0.5mm and 0.7mm) prevent the power drop-off common in low temperatures.

  • Maintain Identical Active Lengths: If you pull harder on one side while tying, you will accidentally pre-stretch that band.
